We had a full house this weekend. My MIL came up to stay with 2 grandkids in tow, and we all had such a great time.
Mommy? Who are these people and can I keep them?

Friday night we ventured to Kemah for some dinner and fun. I love this picture -- Cullen refused to scoot in and is like, "I'm so not with these people..." ha!
Waiting for our table
Waiting for our food
Of course we had to celebrate Mary's birthday. An added bonus at Saltgrass, because they have the best cheesecake ever. Score!
The gift that got opened 20 times before it got opened by the actual birthday girl.
Cullen eyeing the cheesecake before he realized he doesn't like cheesecake.
Here's a picture of the lovely view from our table:
And this view was pretty nice, too:
Christian and I had to ride the carousel, of course. She was SO excited. She was especially excited when her brother decided he didn't want to ride, which meant she got to use his ticket and go again.
Somehow I got talked into riding the "balloon wheel." It was really scary. Or maybe it was just the sight of me trying to cram myself into a teeny tiny cage that was scary. Whatever.
Rick was bored with our wreckless adventures and abandoned us to ride the much tamer wooden roller coaster. And Bamaw stayed busy keeping these two cuties company:
Saturday was a busy day. We headed down to Galveston where Mary took Cullen and Harrison to Moody Gardens while the rest of us enjoyed the day at Schlitterbahn. I don't have any pictures because the disposable waterproof camera I bought proved to be very non-waterproof. But just use your imagination and picture lots of fun in the sun, flying down slides, chilling in the lazy river, tubing on the rapids, munching on dippin' dots, etc., etc., etc., and then be very jealous that you weren't there too, because it was a blast. :)
Sunday we hung out and then decided to go out for brunch before the crew had to head back home. Christian loved playing with Harrison. I told her she was so good with him and she said it's because she's already had two of her own. Ha! Love her!

Cullen played with his trucks and talked about his trucks and asked questions about trucks, and I'm not gonna lie -- sometimes I found it kind of hard to understand him. He's got the most random southern drawl, like he's a backwoods hillbilly or something. Nobody knows where he gets it from and it's hilarious! This kid is such a character and such a little cutie.
Here we all are at brunch. I think this picture is funny because it's full of action. Cullen is not liking his Stister in his space, Rick's trying to scarf down his food in between wresting with Harrison, and who knows what the baby is looking at. We sure were a lively bunch. I think the waiters were scared when they saw us walking up to the door.
Going from having just one child around to three is sure a major difference. Talk about a LOT of energy! Maybe that's the answer to keep from feeling old -- just have a bunch of kids to always keep you on your toes?
