So I kind of have to brag.

Sometimes I just don't give the Hubster all the props he deserves. He will probably be irritated that I'm bragging on him since part of it borders on having his man card revoked, but I have to share how sweet he was recently.

I reeeeally needed to go to the grocery store and was not looking forward to it because, well, it's the grocery store. And I don't know if I've ever brought this up before, but did you know that I haven't been feeling so hot lately? Ha! Yeah, I might have mentioned a time or fifty that my pregnancy sickness lingers. Well my Mr. could sense that I was exhausted and insisted that I lie down and take a nap. I'm not really a nap-taker, but I decided to take him up on the offer because sleeping is a better alternative to puking. I had just dozed off when I felt him kiss me on the forehead and tell me he and Harrison would be back. A nap without a baby in the house? Now we're talking!

He not only gave me over an hour of much needed, uninterrupted sleep, but he did what very few men would have enough courage to do. He braved the crowded grocery store with a bratty an extremely strong-willed baby in tow. A baby who hates the grocery store. And in addition to groceries, do you know what he came home with?

A beautiful bouquet of one of my favorite flowers.

AND...

A Redbox rental of Eclipse!

He actually took me to see Eclipse when it was in the theater, but Harrison lasted about 10 minutes and we had to leave. He was past the stage of sleeping soundly in his infant carrier and had instead entered into the stage of shrieking at the top of his lungs (We're still waiting for that stage to pass...).

We put Harrison down to bed a little early and curled up on the couch to watch the movie. (And to defend his manly honor, Twilight is not just for girls. There is in fact a lot of werewolf/vampire action. Or at least that's how I keep selling the movies to him ;) Ha!)

I don't think there could have been a better way to end the day. I'm one very blessed girl!

Harrison almost forced me to buy the flowers (by reaching out of the basket and ripping them to pieces). He knew that his mommy would like them. However he also had his eye on a poinsettia with glitter on the leaves. We voted and the flowers won out.
