Two Years Ago Today
Dear Harrison,
Two years ago today you made your boisterous entrance into the world and made me a mommy. I remember my first glimpse of you so clearly. They laid you on top of my chest and through my tears I saw that you were absolutely perfect. How could he be mine? I thought. I still find myself asking the same question today.
Two years ago today you changed my life & my heart forever. You give us joy and laughter and endless entertainment. You challenge me to be a better person. You have enriched our lives more than you will ever know.
Happy birthday to you, my baby boy. The calendar argues that you are long past your baby days but you will always, always, always be my baby. I love you far more than I could ever put into words.
Love,
Mommy

And everyone that sees you
Always wants to know you
And everyone that knows you
Always has a smile
You're a standing ovation
After years of waiting
For a chance to finally shine
Everyone calls you amazing
Always wants to know you
And everyone that knows you
Always has a smile
You're a standing ovation
After years of waiting
For a chance to finally shine
Everyone calls you amazing
I just call you mine
