Baseball Party
Harrison wanted a baseball party this year. Which was a lot of fun for me to plan because I am a totally a baseball girl!
Decorating was challenging since there were hurricane force winds blowing through the pavilion. But thankfully I had a few people there beforehand to help me tape everything down.
Food included the ball park staples: hot dogs, peanuts, cracker jacks, nachos, popcorn, chips, old fashioned coca-cola, and of course some big league chew. I baked cupcakes and cookies for dessert.
Harrison told us he wanted to have a toy drive for kids in foster care instead of getting presents from his friends. He was worried that kids wouldn't get any Christmas gifts and wanted to help. He really does have a huge heart. He collected a bunch of stuff and we took it to our agency to drop off on his actual birthday.
After everyone was done eating, we headed over to the ball field. Our "game" was quite amusing.
It was a fun day celebrating our little slugger!
